How is CMR helping surgeons today?
CMR is helping surgeons by allowing more surgeons, a greater number of surgeons, to provide minimal access surgery to more patients. We were founded with a very clear vision — to transform surgery for good and to bring minimal access surgery to everyone who needs it. By doing so, we’ve created a platform, a robotic surgical platform for minimal access surgery, called Versys.
What challenges did CMR face that led you to invest in a sales enablement tool?
For us, there were three main challenges we were trying to overcome, which led us to invest in a sales enablement tool. First, we were a rapidly growing company. Second, we needed a way to control the content we were putting out. And third, as a technology company, we wanted to be seen at the forefront of working with customers in an innovative way. Showpad enabled us to do that.
Why did you choose Showpad?
Members of our team had worked with Showpad in the past, and we thought the experience was great, so we chose to work with them again. Some of the main benefits we’ve seen are, firstly, control — allowing a very controlled amount of material to go out. We know exactly what messages are being put out there.
How has Showpad helped your commercial team?
We know what our commercial team is saying to people when they’re in meetings with customers and engaging with stakeholders. It helps them develop their messaging. We also find the reporting and insights really valuable — seeing where customers are spending the most time, which pieces of content work compared to ones that aren’t as successful.
What kind of feedback have you received from your team using Showpad?
The feedback from our commercial team is that they absolutely love it. Having all the content on hand, ready whenever they need it, is a huge benefit. So when they’re in conversations with potential customers, they have the resources and content there to help fulfill the needs of that customer. That’s where we’ve seen the biggest benefit — enabling our sales and commercial team to have everything at their fingertips.
