As Chief Financial Officer at Showpad, Matt Miller brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and management. Today, he is responsible for partnering with employees from across the organization to drive growth and success for Showpad’s customers, partners and employees globally.
Prior to joining Showpad, Matt served as CFO at Basis Technologies where he led financial, real estate, IT and legal operations and helped it become the most capital-efficient, scaled company in advertising technology.
Matt’s desire to scale high growth companies stems from his days as co-founder and president of two international real estate lending platforms. His entrepreneurial ambitions followed several years in investment banking with Duff & Phelps and BMO Capital Markets, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory and debt and equity financings for mid-sized growth companies.
Matt began his career in public accounting at RSM and also held global corporate finance roles at Spencer Stuart where he found his passion for international culture after spending a considerable amount of time working across the globe throughout Europe, Australasia and South America. He may be spotted above the clouds around the world, pursuing his love of extreme sports under a parachute, hang glider, or abseiling rope, or biking on the Chicago lakefront with his family.
Matt holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
